My name is Clate Brewer and I am owner and operator of WCB Builders of Raleigh. My company was built on a foundation of hard work and excellence, the cornerstone to all we do as a company. These were qualities that were instilled in me at a young age by my father and characteristics that I hope are reflected in the work we do for every client every day.

 

I have over 20 years’ experience in the building industry and have always loved sharing my knowledge of building and creating. I get really excited about the before and after of a job and take great pride in delivering a completed project that will make my clients happy.

 

My career started at ECU where I majored in construction management. From there I moved to Raleigh and worked for a local commercial construction company as a superintendent where I ran projects as large as mixed use commercial retail space, commercial remodels and school and government building remodels. In 2006 I started WCB Builders where I have completed a variety of both commercial and residential projects including new home construction, home remodels and small and large commercial up fits.

I am a native of Hope Mills, NC, but have resided in Raleigh, NC since 2001. I have been married to my wife, Devon, for 13 years and we share 2 beautiful children together. In my spare time, my great love is the ocean so you will find me on a boat fishing or just enjoying the salt air during any vacations or weekends. I also love cooking for my family (usually the fish I caught!) and playing basketball or football with my son. Friday nights you can find me on the couch with my family for our weekly tradition of “Pizza movie Friday night.”
